Simon has moxie. Leeds 1820 seems worse that Dickens in London, if that's possible. Filthy indeed. Very fast paced for the occupation of "thief-taker" who basically "relocates" the "goods". Fiction indeed for the under characters and the conversational nuance (way too modern but regardless, this is easy read and savvy fun.
