This is delightful!! Someone give Ms Yap a publisher and a contract to turn this into a full length book (or series?? I feel each of these women deserve their own book!) ASAP!
There are a few small technical flaws, but the pace settles in quickly.

It's taken me so long to get through this book and idk why. I mean, I'm really liking it. I think maybe because there are so many flashbacks? Not sure.

This has a visceral reality and focus on the effects of constant battling to it that's reminding me more of Animorphs than the more detached and fantasy-based magical girl series I've encountered, not quite what I expected!
