The stories are not that great and they are SO repetitive. Also, the author just seems a bit too full of himself. I genuinely couldn’t care less how many rounds of the Moth Slam he won, it doesn’t add any value and just shows him as, (yes, name-pun intended), a bit of a dick.

Some pretty good points, the Homework for Life is a good one. However, as a person who has never heard of Matthew Dicks, nor the Moth StorySLAM, I find it more and more annoying as I progress with the book that the author constantly pushes the reader to go on Youtube and listen to this or that story in full. It’s distracting & kind of full of itself. So far: some good ideas, increasingly unlikeable author.
