Chapter 6 State your HOWs: in this chapter Simon gives you the tools and tips to turn your how’s into why’s by changing wording, allowing the group or individual to ask themselves what instead of why they do things. There are many more examples in this chapter.

Chapter 5 (Cont.): Simon brings the group together by asking the group to share their mottos and sayings, from there they can collectively come together and create the why statement.

Chapter 4 (Cont.): Simon discusses more about the types of dicussions that will take place such as anecdotal stories that can be shared amongst the group. He strongly suggests that the team be put into diverse groups to assist with creating the Flipchart of what they love about the job.

Chapter 4 (Cont.): Simon provides details for the facilitator to have while they are trying to find the WHY in the group sense, he encourages that the individuals in the group pair up with someone they don’t know or aren’t familiar with and share the stories and information to find the WHY statement.

Chapter 4: Why discover for groups. Simon goes into detail on how to organise finding the WHY statement in a group setting. He provides the necessary tools and tips to get this process setup for the next chapter which is catching the ideas from the group of employees to find the WHY statement for the department/company.

Chapter 3 (Cont.): Simon explains how we find out the themes that affect us and the way we go about life trying to insight positive change, from there he asks us to go into detail prodding the emotions that were felt during the stories. Once that is complete you can create your WHY statement and hone it so it fits your goals and aspirations.

Chapter 3: finding your WHY as an individual. Simon goes through the process of finding your why by asking very deep, emotive, thought provoking questions to find the most genuine and sincere WHY. He even provides numerous tips and guides which are located in this chapter and the appendix.
