Janelle is finally asking questions

Ch.9 is getting good. The mystery plot is progressing. They watching the reaction and trail of activity of the possible true killer. This chapter is a little more believable.

If I was in the Janelle’s shoes, I would be thinking it’s all too good am to be true. The Chapter 8 has a very daydream like air about it.
Most of it is Greg talking in paragraphs and introducing her to the next few months of her life like a monologue. It’s interesting but unrealistic.

The book is finally starting to get interesting. She’s reached the island and going to start the process of recovering from what’s she’s been through for the last 6 years.

Does okay capturing a humans reaction for this situation

Finally getting better

Finally starling to get interesting. This is the first chapter that’s not set in the main characters home and contains more than just them discussing the details of the case.

The case is finally moving along. But it’s still really slow pace

Still kind of boring because it countries to focus on conversation between Ann and Paul the main characters, with the mystery/cold case being in the background. There haven’t been any scenes outside their home. Each chapter emus just them recapping.

It reads kind of like a diary. A recap of what happens when they go out but time skips them actually going out.

Move very slow. Focuses more on the couple discussing the case rather than the action and intrigue. So far it’s a little boring.
