I haven't read this in nearly 20 years, and it feels like I'm getting lunch with an old friend and catching up. This book had such a MASSIVE impact on me at such a young age, I hadn't even realized until I started this re-read.

DNF. as a motorcycle guy I could barely hang on here. It’s dated, and the repackaged eastern philosophy through the lens of a white dude who says “women typically don’t like motorcycles because they want to understand what something is instead of why something is” and refuses to take his kid to therapy because “we’ll fix him on the road” just doesn’t take for me. A boomer’s wet dream.
