Did not connect to the characters or find the plot that compelling, I put it down after a few chapters.

A man who blamed her for everything, including the death of his own father. Because that is what your babies do, when they grow. They turn around and say it is all your fault. The fact that people die. It is all your fault.

I realised while reading that I read this in 2018… but I have forgotten it mostly and it’s like reading for the first time 😂

He would help Greg in his last months, or years. And he might resent it but he would not regret it: because this was the thing that was given him to do.
