Status Updates From False Memory (False #1)

Okay I give up. Lily is still in a coma and is now somewhat faking amnesia to avoid being killed, and I just don't care. We don't really know a lot about Duff, the love interest, and there really isn't anything that makes me want to keep reading. Too much "you should know this and that person" and not enough context. I'm bored out of my mind and confused, so I'm gonna have to DNF this.

Sooo I just found out this is a spin-off to another series, hence why I feel like a lot of charactes are just dropped into the story without explanation, as if I should already know them. I'm not sure how I feel about that, as I personally think that if you write a spin-off, you should be able to read said spin-off without having to read all the former books to understand what is happening ://

So far it has just been Lily in a coma while being conscious. I hope something changes soon...
