Now that the book is getting into some of the war stories specifically, I am glad that I have other sources, such as the “King George, What Was His Problem” that I enjoyed so immensely!
The descriptions of the battles are not quite as interesting or in depth in this book, but Joy Hakim did a great job for the length of this book!

I still really love reading this book! I would recommend this to almost anyone. It is entirely informative and interesting, especially if you already find history especially interesting! Joy Hakim includes so many interesting facts and tidbits I just love, and she really makes these historical figures seem real.

This is one of my favorite history curriculums I’ve ever done! Plus it’s Revolutionary War, and I sure love studying that. I can’t wait to keep reading!

Since I’m reading these cover to cover with the kids I may as well get credit for it.
