I'm starting lesson 23 of the 30 lessons on this 17-hour long e-Book. There is another person requesting this copy from my local library, so I will have to pause this until my turn to check it out on my library card rolls around again. Meanwhile, I'm using Duolingo online (since January).

Each lesson format: A) 2' of Brief Conversation (containing many of the words to be learned). Repeat. B) 20' of specific phrases/words with blank time for listener to translate/repeat. C) 3' of 20 words/phrases.
I like the focus on listening/repeating. Example: the silent 'h' in Spanish is way too easy for me (English speaker) to mispronounce when reading, but when listening/repeating it never occurs.

The library audiobook version is 17 hours and contains lessons 1-30. Not sure why this is broken into 1-5, 6-10, ... here on Good reads. I'm listening to this to learn Spanish, while simultaneously using Duolingo online. Nice mix of both. This Pimsleur is VERY focused on the spoken language (repeat by user rather mandatory). Duolingo is primarily the reading (repeat by speech is up to the user)
