My favorite parenting book - just straightforward, practical, and focused on the Gospel. Also the best explanation of "correction" from a merciful Gospel perspective.
If you thought "Shepherding A Child's Heart" was too long and detailed and time-consuming in application, than this is the book for you. Half the length, well-written, and streamlined.
I am re-reading snippets and I have highlighted so many quotes!

“Failure to practice correction can lead the child to distrust you. If our no doesn’t mean no, then the word is not only pointless—it’s a lie.”
