really dragging,,, got bamboozled into buying this at galaxycon and liked the concept. story so far is confusing and snags on new terminology and lore far too early in the book. main character is frustrating and not super likable, which i normally don’t mind/enjoy, but i find it frustrating being stuck in eli’s head w minimal knowledge and no love for this mc. gonna keep trying but URGH

Who is Ahbnar? Eli was just with Kenrith, and we've not yet been introduced to an Ahbnar and he's suddenly there? So confused.

The POV and tense switch threw me too much.

I love this book. Once I started it i couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed this book.. can't wait for my fiancee to read it.

So far this book is interesting, I have really enjoyed reading. I know my fiancee will really enjoy this.

So far I'm getting a feeling of Dresden Files. We will see how the rest goes as it's still early on but I'm liking what I'm reading so far and that actually surprises me a bit, though I'm not sure why. The writing is very well done and the story line is intriguing.
