🥹 So it was slightly surprising to find Ethan in bed. He was sprawled on his back, one arm and leg exposed, a small trail of drool from the corner of his slightly parted lips to the pillow. There was even light snoring.
Jack smiled. It was cute. Ethan Blade, wanted assassin, drooled in his
sleep.

I am guessing Ethan might have recognized Adam as the killer and that’s why he pulled a gun on him but didn’t want to tell Ethan bc they r friends??

I never believed Ethan would want to take Jacks ticket. I am guessing Ethan and Eva took the ticket so nobody takes the ticket themselves and assassinate Jack. The only character that could be the Judge seems to be Adam because he’s the only other character that has appear a lot

Pretty interesting but I am more into the plot then there relationship tho… this book is more difficult to follow because I haven’t read the short stories and don’t know the things they are referring to in some parts. Also unlike the first book then before and after chapters happen in the same setting so it gets confusing remembering which events belong to what timeline bc it’s not as clear as desert vs city
