Her equipment list is so short and simple! And that’s the “deluxe” version!

The last chapter is beautiful!

Audrey’s adventures (in the 60s, no less) were amazing. I love her sense of humor too. This book is seriously making me want to go back to Hawaii, hike more, and paddle! (But not swim, or snorkel.)

The narration is as lush as the descriptions. I’m already eager to read more of Audrey’s true stories of her daring adventures, but also to find other work by this narrator.!

Beautiful writing and narration, especially regarding Hawaiian history, myths, and place names!
