Geordie is so crazy funny, truly fabulous. He reminds me of myself a lot, not because of his diva streak but because of his way of talking about himself: self deprecating mixed with I’m-so-awesome’s. He is funny af.

“I want to know all about you and why you kept this delicious secret.”
Levi huffed. “My sister’s scooter isn’t exactly a secret, but it’s also not something I advertise. Most people I know aren’t impressed by pink Vespas.”
I wrinkled my brow and gave him a forlorn once-over. “You poor, sad man. You obviously need new friends.

Levi flashed a winning smile that made his dimple stand out. “Try that again.
I’m gonna have to take away your dude card if you don’t give me a real fist bump,
Geordie,” he teased.
“I assure you, I have never had a dude card.”

Teeheheeee I forgot how delightfully NUTS Geordie is. What a great opening chapter to bring all the things I loved about this series rushing back.

I swear my head hurts from trying to reconstruct the narrative. The banter is good. But the rest....

Although the banter is good. I’m not sure how long I will be able to endure it though.

It is very unlike me to start a series not from the beginning but since all novels are sort of stand alones and I liked the summary of this one, I decided to pick it up. However, there are little to none descriptions or explanations as it is targeted at the audience who is familiar with the characters. I find it annoying. It’s basically just dialogues.
