Took a day off from the book, and I'm mixing up the stories. That's the bad part about it being similar in theme and in the same place. Big question is...do I even care anymore??

The second book has similar underlying themes as the first one. Annoying that the author couldn't come up with different ideas. May dnf if it comes too close to copying the first book.

Second book takes place in the same town. Trying to figure out what the time frame is between the first and second book. Will some of the characters in the first book make an appearance? Wish it was in a different town.

First book...4.5 stars. Enjoyed it but the ending felt a little rushed. Would have preferred the story to be a full book instead of 200 pages.

I'm surprised by this book. Since it's a YA book that I prob got back in 08, I thought at first I wouldn't like it. But I'm finding myself pulled to read it. Maybe it's how fast of a read it is. Idk but I'm amazed at how it's keeping my attention.
Think it may also be that it's not politics which is what most books are now, so a change is nice.
