I am so fucking scared to start this last. Because the cover. With all of them in separate corners. *gulp*. I haven’t read a book in a while where I genuinely had no idea how it was going to end and I totally wouldn’t put it past Kris Ripper to take this series to places I don’t want it to go. And even if all ends well Kris Ripper surely won’t give us what we want the easy way. So. Scared.

(writing this down now so I don't forget for my review) Okay, so what I think IS brilliant here is that it's building on all the character flaws and issues established in earlier books that were somewhat but not entirely addressed or were smoothed over by affection rather than actual change and it makes this book both difficult and good

Okay imma keep reading cuz it's the main book with the boys as I understand but I still hate this switching because the information from going back over these scenes could almost always be communicated by cutting between POVs earlier in the scene or making it more reflection ughh

Gotta say i don't love this technique of running back over a conversation and switching POVs

So I totally had to brace myself before starting to read this book. But it's either do this today or wait a week, because I doubt this is one I can read in small increments, so.

And once I got going, I couldn't put it down. Ups and downs and highs and lows and a whole bunch of everything all at once.

Tears and damn, I really miss my spouse tonight. He's off with a friend just hanging out. I would have tagged along but no one asked me, and so instead I went on a super emotional Ripper journey.

Will...my heart is breaking with yours.

Oh this is a hard read.

And oh so Ripper. Ze is so good at getting all the emotions and feelings right, and Hugh....this is So Effing Hugh.

Oh fuckkk this is destroying me. I've put the book down twice now because I just want to sob, and I'm at 4 fucking percent. This is WRECKING me. I want to read it, I really do, and I'm sure it's wonderful, but UGH!!
