Read this as a teenager and thought it'd be a funny read as an adult, fully expecting it to not hold up in a lot of areas. A) fascinated by her experience with Southern women bc as a Southern woman, I do not have this experience with most of the women I know, B) already some super cringey moments about the South's history, and C) some... interesting perspectives about women thus far, but maybe a few useful tidbits?

Sweet like honey or mean as an in a wasp sting. So glad I picked up this book. It easy, fun, smooth read and also a good reality check to make sure a southern woman is putting in the in effort of making sure she isn’t being mean despite things going wrong or taking the good things for granted.
