Lilo Abernathy is 30% done

This is a young adult fantasy story about a teenage girl who suddenly finds herself transported to another world in her sleep. I don't want to give too much away, but I really enjoy the following... There are no references to "black" or "African American" people. There are references to "dark chocolate brown" skin. I love that.
