Status Updates From Convergence

The book starts off excellent, but I was disappointed after around halfway into it. There was a lot of "fluff" to skim through just to find out what you've already predicted long before the end, and by the time you get to the end, the "surprises" aren't surprising and should've just been mentioned throughout the story because there was no shock factor in the information being thrown at you at the end.
