This uniquely structured novel had so much potential and the execution was great…until about 60% where we sort of turned the corner into contemporary women’s fiction, which is not a genre I can handle: like a very rich and attentive woman with men and friends who love her but were supposed to…? I can’t force myself to pick this up.
