Status Updates From The Cost of Betrayal: Three...

"Betrayed" by Dee Henderson is a 2 out of 5 for me. The mystery was really good, but I was confused because it started out with a couple from a previous book I hadn't read yet and it threw me off. Halfway through the story, we actually get to the couple it's about and while I thought it would get to some romantic tension eventually, there's no hint of romance until the epilogue, it wasn't bad, but not great either

This 3rd book started out dull. But I’m glad I kept reading because it’s gotten better. A doctor and a justice obsessed rogue cop on the run looking for the evidence they need is pretty intriguing.

So far “Deadly Isle” by Dani Pettrey is my favorite out of the 3 books.
