So yeah. So detail-oriented that I can overlook and dare I say enjoy the corny ass one-liners with a permissibility I usually only afford to John Reece. Thank you Gregg for the extremely dry sardonic sense of humor and the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it barely there romantic girl-next-door subplot. I live.

My favorite part is that hurwitz, true to his own word/writing, maintains evan’s humanity, from morality to base instincts. He makes a point to note that evan’s heart rate speeds up when he’s excited or anticipating something. He notes when other characters notice when evan is caught off guard and therefore giving something away in his facial expressions. These little details really stand out to me.

This is like if The Bourne Identity had a kid with Person of Interest seasons 1-3 with a little bit of John Wick chapter 2 thrown in there.

And it is incredible.

Obsessed with the flashbacks and the father-son stunted emotional dynamics. Love the intense attention-to-detail of everything from fancy-ass vodka distillations to hand-to-hand combat moves to car fortifications to guns.
