😱 Into the sea and the hungry sharks have come 😨 With all my WWII reading I'd not known about the Kaiten, the Japanese suicide torpedo squad. Harrowing stuff.

I put this excellent book aside to read Flags of our Father's first. They do complement each other, and 'Indy' the battleship receives mention in Flags.
* I must confess, i read the middle part first! 😮 So compelling I started ch.1.
* As a transoceanic sailor and naval historian I can assure this book will make your skin crawl. It is the hardest book I've read second to Infadel (also highly recommended)
