there’s only so much about Roman antiquity that I can read at once tbh

im annotating this book for my crush/lover/brainpartner & it is really enjoyable so far. i feel like the book gets a little bit liberal at times, but i honestly can't say for sure what that means. reading this at such a high pressure moment is grounding me. in what, i am not sure. maybe in the knowledge the most any of us can do is lay the groundwork for the next generations. trying not to get emo about that.
