I never thought I would have to google a term used in a NZ YA Fictional book. What is deros?
According to urban dictionary: A hobo, derelict or bogan. A person that is homeless or acts as if they are homeless, generally to be cool with other hobos.
Aah, now I see. Is it short for derelict?
