As far as Drupal web development books go. This is shaping up to be one of my favorites. The code recipes are straightforward as is the explanations. I can't stress how important that is for a book like this.

The "cookbook" approach is great for Drupal developers who have some prior knowledge with Drupal 8's approach to templates, modules, plugins etc.
