This is difficult to read. The sadness and rage I am feeling is overwhelming.

I actually feel sick reading this. I'm thinking of setting it aside because it's emotionally so dark, but knowing that it's semi-autobiographical makes me feel like I owe it to the author to bear witness to her experience and finish reading this.

Definitely need to take my time with this book! A really important read, but gosh it is heartbreaking due to the subject matter!💜
