Status Updates From CS Lewis Collected Essays a...

CS Lewis’ short story about the prostitutes sent to Mars was… odd. As was the story about exploring the inner landscape of a self-interested woman named Peggy. Both stories contain primary messages which I think are overwhelmed by secondary messages about gender and sexuality, especially those secondary pieces that haven’t aged well.

The unfinished manuscript of The Dark Tower book is fascinating. It’s really cool to see an early piece of the writing process from CS Lewis and also to read a bit about what his writing group thought of it. I actually had one of the same responses to it that they did, which was funny to me. I’m glad he decided to finish his other books rather than this one, but it was fun to read
