Status Updates From The Crying of Lot 49

So upon an immediate reread, it actually reads a lot less serious in-universe. Like Oedipa was just here solving a mystery because she was bored, rather than going on an adventure on her volition to uncover a secret.

reading it BACK TO BACK on loop bc why not it's my lunch break? And it already is feeling different (a lot more dramatic) once I am able to parse through the long dense sentences.

Planning on reading this all again for the enjoyment rather than annotating every sentence. Needless to say I did not understand much of what was going on by the end

Ch 5 - longest chapter and after halfway through I gave up annotating because I simply just gave up comprehending everything. Still very enjoyable even on surface level
