The tender is dead, Rhi is dead, Erica is dead. I hoped Voria would be chosen as next Tender but it didn't happen. Kaizon is about to be dead, but the god Inera appears, having been hidden for millenia. Nara's story seems to have ended happily, but it seemed a bit too easy. Aran is a war hero. Only 1 chapter left. This was much better than previous books.

So Shia is being destroyed, Aran's sword was broken, and he was about to die

Voria is on Turnis, talking to Governor Austin on the Alamo spaceship. Aran is on New Texas in Fort Crockett (with some major Helms Deep vibes which I really like) Nara and Fritt are going to attack Colony 3? Are they?

Fritt and Nara meet then get caught by Nebiot. I found her father telling her what to do kinda took the tension a bit out of the situation. Now Aran and his Outriders are attacking New Texas, heading for Fort Crockett to try and save the planet. We also have a news reporter for some reason. Jolene and Talifax also have a moment. The plot threads in this one are more interesting

Nara has reached Xenon and Nebiot is there. Voria has created a rebellion against the Tender, and Aran has stolen the Hunter? I found this section a bit confusing, as I didn't really know what Aran was doing, but the next Voria chapter made sense. Maybe they should have been the other way around?

So Aran and the gang have a name, Aran's Outriders, and have become full mercenaries. Eros wants to bring Shia back to life to fight Krox, but Ichadra knew her and it didn't work

So Nara has made her betrayal, and it'll be good to see what she gets up to. It looks like this will be set on Turnis.

A long prologue following the Ineran who is working for Nefarius, turning his blood into armour to control everything. Then Aran and Nara fight a dragon in the spellship, and Nara "feeling out of character" having had her memories returned is already getting annoying. Hopefully Nara's arc will lead somewhere cool though
