Really interesting view on immigration and religion.

1. Host country allows in immigrants
2. Immigrants must ‘assimilate’ (to what extent?)
3. Immigrants may become first class citizens.

Never really thought it could be conceptualised as simply as that, but naturally all three are up for debate as to what extent.

I really enjoyed chapters on nationalism, and rise of global issues + redundancy of religion.

I’m finding it really interesting, I haven’t thought much about the convergence of info and biotech, and the ability to manipulate the human body and consciousness creating a completely new vision of the future. One of genetic superiority and that of ‘standard sapiens’. As Harari said, you’d be splitting humans horizontally. Also, who controls the data??? Even now, I’ve no idea. More research needed.
