Out of context, I can relate to this. But that's what happens when you're known for being reliable (or, in Routa's case, having a seeming indestructible body).

This definitely has the "light" part of "light novel" down pat.

I will say, though, that there's some gross dude stuff that I hope doesn't become too prominent. If you're a dog who supposedly doesn't care about nude humans anymore, maybe pay less attention to your 14-year-old girl owner standing around in her underwear while deciding what to wear for the day.

OMG, crying. This reminds me a little of So I'm a Spider, So What? in terms of readability. I get the feeling the translator had a bit of fun with this.

Maybe it's the week I've had, but I'm already cheering on the overworked Japanese salaryman protagonist. I hope he enjoys his new life.

I checked my planned offload stack and realized I've bought myself enough time to read with less of an eye towards getting rid of stuff. So, I decided to try another one of my light novels. Here's hoping it's fluffy, readable, and fun (even if it means wanting to add volume 2 to my massive TBR mountain).
