Status Updates From The Theology of the Body: H...

"This is the body: a witness to creation as a fundamental gift, and therefore a witness to Love as the source from which this same giving springs." p.183 😫🤎

This book is starting to blow my mind. I literally got chills. Maybe this isn't new news but he talks about how when you break down the Hebrew in Genesis 3, when God makes woman, the descriptive words change and Adam literally BECOMES MALE at the creation of Eve. Sorry that just blew my mind. So in that moment God wasn't just creating Eve He was creating male and female!! 🤯 I want to keep ranting but I won't.

This book is about as dense as a gramma's fruitcake. Good. Rich. But, a lot.
