“an IP logger that logged every visit to that website”… this book is generally quite tech-literate, but like, I can see the IPs that visit my website; I think this is just normal analytics.

Are records of calls to police & who made them really on the Internet? Is all this stuff on the Internet? Maybe to a greater extent if you pay/hack.
