Status Updates From El simpatizante

Giving me 1984 vibes which is why I'm still reading - good story, interesting voice, but way too bloated and the author should have just done a Tolkien and written accompanying essays instead of trying to fit Marxist musings on cinema and production of identity in between his descriptions of how horny he is. The analysis of the word cleavage was my last straw and we're skimming to the end now.

Cannot put this one down… humorous, gripping, and as complicated as devastating—so far love this book
