Lamont and Tyler are closer being real boyfriends. They were seen together at the Lavender Shores book store where Lamont agreed to autograph a stack of his books for the store to sell.

and a few days later, Lamont took Tyler to the shipwreck where Tyler had Lamont pose for pictures before they both ended up naked.

Tyler asked, “I know we’re pretend lovers for your family right now. But would it be OK to pretend even when it’s just us?”.

“Oh, it’s absolutely OK!”. Lamont leaned over and kissed him.

Lamont certainly expressed my view of reading a romance novel when he asked Tyler, “Don’t you think it isn’t the ending that’s important, but the fun of finding out how the lovers actually get there?”.

Another great start to a Lavender Shores audiobook.

Pretty clear where that’s heading. But it’s going to be a fun ride!

This story is making me emotional , I am tearing up.

I’m finding this frustrating and not holding my attention. The storyline of a fake boyfriend is fine, but they are constantly mentioning how they are “pretending”. Just let it play out!

Don't like the implication that a fat person can't be a "swan" but you can grow into a swan from a fat person. Not quite fat shaming, but it's close to that line. If something like that line continues in this book, then we're gonna have a problem. Hopefully it doesn't.

OMG why do I get the feeling [spoiler] is a porn star? Follow up - but then how would a town full of LGBTQIA+ not know who he is? 🤔
