Really interesting! Been trying to read more critical theory and this is an intriguing read. Despite the eye catching title, it is more about women’s roles in society under capitalism and socialism, and ways in which women’s oppression under certain forms of government ends up affecting society as a whole.

“Intimate relationships that are relatively free from the transactional ethos of sexual economics theory are generally more honest, authentic, and, well, just better.”

Couldn’t put it more succinctly than that tbh.
