Status Updates From An Unkindness of Ghosts

Okay but why am I giggling.

- “I think it doesn’t matter because we get to decide what our bodies are or are not.”

- “Is that so? Then I am magic. I say it, therefore it is true.”

They made such a big deal out of the Sovereign having the only rifle on the ship, only for 20 more to conveniently show up at the last minute. This is the kind of stuff I mean when I say this book is hard to follow. It just kind of feels like it was writtten and then never edited for plot or continuity. So much is just so random.

This book is so meandering, with flashes of plot. I really don’t understand the choices Aster makes sometimes

Not loving it. It’s not really pulling me in. If I wasn’t almost done I’d probably DNF it.

I’m enjoying this more now that I’ve basically accepted that it’s not gonna make a ton of sense. Also now that it has a plot.
