It is well written. Don't doubt that. I just want to smash every single person to bits and commit genocide of an entire species.

This book is a well-written pile of frustration with a dash of annoyance.

First they complain that their son is lazy and can't choose a trade for several pages, then when he decides (for something innovative, no less), they complain about that too

Grasswomen only lived alone if they were adopted widows. Whoever heard of a grasswoman building a house? [...]

Not a fan of the gender roles in this book.
