Dialogue is wooden and unrealistic

And then the premise? It's like the author is just throwing darts at a list of scenarios that could be put into a book and adding it to the plot.

This book just gets worse and worse the more I read it.

This is a stupid-ass book. Grammar and syntax is crap. Writing is very wooden (so far). Luckily it's not a long book, so I'm not gonna quit. I'm gonna see it through to the end. Right now, though? 1.5⭐
