Status Updates From Tess: Roman (German Edition)

I’m going to annotate the crap out of this book

Rereading this with my annotations from my high school self has been a transcendent experience. Turns out I have basically the same exact reactions today

I will be taking a break from this book until I feel well enough to read something more challenging again. (Or I will probably read it next spring, kind of depends on if I want to restart reading autumn books soon or not!)

I just finished the first phase and wow. So much to say not enough words. But before Tess went to Trantridge the situation with her mother reminded me a lot about that quote Jo March said in the 2019 little women movie.
