Her Red Right Hand was awesome very possibly my favorite story in the collection. Loved every bit of it

Previous update was at about 50% completion as I’ve been bouncing around and enjoying the books different literary tricks and styles Tremblay employs to much satisfaction. This immediately stood out to me in The Beast You Are and heavily influenced my purchase of this collection. It works so well to keep the book interesting especially in a short story collection.

I’m seeing a lot more weirdness in this vs The Beast You Are which I actually read before this collection. Not that Beast is void of weird but Growing Things has had more than a couple open ended, Laird Barron like, tales in my opinion. I know everyone loves the guy but to much ambiguity is just not my flavor.
