Hmmmm a lot of this stuff sounds familiar.

This is a random one but I think it’s a good book so far.

maybe our definition of family should change (or at least how we think about family). We no longer need families (aka child labor) to survie economically. Maybe family can be something broader than before - a network of people we love regardless of blood.

- perception that childfree people have more time to work than parents / managers prefer childfree women because they don’t have the responsibilities of parenthood
- does maternal instinct really exist or are women just socialized to be mothers?
-parents and childfree people are BOTH selfish
