Ultimately this was a mid level read it kept me interested not too long , with mmc being the stand out. I also enjoyed the side story with their friends not sure it’s enough to read their book though

Stakes were minimal as FMC didn’t really like him and it just seemed like a random solution to get to have her sister stay with her and clearly wouldn’t have panned out because her dad didn’t like that guy anyway. Also om was a cheater who proved he had a bad moral character and embarrassed himself publicly the pay off just didn’t seem worth it

This was a decent read. Though it was instalove on behalf of mmc. There was some build up with him trying to convince her to stay with him. Spice was good. And I loved that FMC was tall. Mmc was possessive but still gave FMC autonomy to deal with fake engagement with OM (I go back and forth on whether I’d prefer caveman tendencies) The fake engagement was the worst part
