Very good up to this point. They weren't exactly "enemies" at first so I was confused, but then as stuff happened over the years and James became more and more closed off, it made sense. But now they're really getting to know each other. So far, definitely worth the 5 bucks for it. Also me not having read the previous 3 isn't bad. I've been able to catch up pretty easily.

Had this on my TBR list forever. Partially because my last book by this author didn't go well, although that was years ago now, and partly because it wasn't on KU and I wanted to wait until I got a gift card for Amazon before buying this. Thankfully got the gift card, and don't have anything else to read ATM, so diving into this one - which, yeah, I didn't read the first three in the series, but oh well 😉

So this seems to be what I've been waiting for with this series. Issues and emotions and firey passion galore!
Also can I just say that Kale Williams, the narrator, has a voice that can melt your insides. He seems to be particularly good with accents and he makes each character sound unique.

I want to read about almost all characters in this universe.
I so far reading 4 books this author wrote and I am in love with all of them.

There’s over 4 hours left!?! I don’t know if I can finish this.

Audio...I don’t know what percent I’m at. I totally skipped the rest of the series after Austin but I got the gist of it all. I don’t really like Malcolm at all and James is a miserable person. Hopefully they turn this around soon!
