"The ministry of Jesus, the incarnate one, clarifies that sinners are those who foster racism, sexism, and homophobia and those who nurture racist, sexist, and heterosexist structures and systems. For the church to be those (listed) is for the church to be Antichrist."

Power relations turn into power weaponized to maintain social hierarchies and marginalization. This than difffuses through society, handed down from insitutions. Begins to define catergories, which in then turn defines our scope of truth, which in then distributes power among individuals. And then circles around back to "power relations."

okay so heres what foucalt is saying for the most part....v interesting. Power is not inherenly "good or bad," simply refering to the power that language and discourse shapes our understanfing of reality which can in turn be used to both oppress, empower, and shape indentities. We all play into power relations in every relationship.
