Interesting concept but a lot of unnecessary details making the story dull and boring to read. I'm debating on DNF. I feel like this had wonderful potential. Some things mentioned leave me hanging and could have been a great way to expand the story. I literally skimmed 3 paragraphs about cleaning brushes.
