too many questions, no answers but at this point im growing annoyed w this story because we only have one volume and things are as unclear as ever…
no character development, lousy time travel lore, theyre trying to gaslight me into thinking that old timers are bad, the girls aren’t interesting in even talking about the ethics and the sides of the war and what’s right/what’s wrong and im just… meh

the death of older tiffany… does this mean that she never lives past 24? that, like, sucks sm. and mac dies too? curious what happens to kj, i think she’s the only adult whose fate wasn’t talked abt

like if that first night started off this chain of events, how did all those people end up in the city that first night, you know what i mean? even if this chain of events happened the first year this timeline existed (because it’s inevitable)…. how, during that first year, the old timers knew to go to 1988 and kick start this whole thing that sent the girls into the future?

the girls are “in the present”, the grandfather is in volume 1… the interconnectedness of if all…?
and the fact that it’s doomed to repeat every year? I just… no. i hate it here lol

the kiss makes so little sense for fucks sake i don’t even care because i can’t stand mac 😭😭😭 and don’t like kj

but like… if she doesn’t time travel, then she doesn’t develop that cancer? so… it’s simple actually?

erin just found a map home but… are they gonna go home without ending the war first…

im so pissed that it seems they’ll choose time travelers… but also… why have they STILL not discussed the ethics of this? or what exactly they wanna do? didn’t discuss who’s the bad guy Va the good guy. they wanna get home but they also never talked about one important thing…

and i have only one volume and like 15 pages in this one…

at least, erin and tiffany aren’t part of this shit? but also like… if they don’t remember this night, then how are they gonna be part of the war (which is implied by mac time traveling)?

FUCKKKK this makes no sense. in v5, in “the present” the old timer went back to that first night from v1. why? like… how did they even know about the girls in the present to have to go back? again, those fucking loops make my head hurt and i don’t like this at alll

like why do the girls matter… i thought they mattered because of the first night. but the first night happened cuz they ALREADY matter WHAT

we’re in volume 5 and no character growth for mac whatsoever… like, for any of them tbh? though no, maybe for erin. she has friends now yk? but also their personalities really don’t matter much here and i don’t like it how we’re basically 80% into the whole story and… they’re still the same

like considering how homophobic mac is, why tf kj still so obsessed w her? it also… like the lesbian revelation didn’t make her go thru all the emotions, she went to a quick surprise and then immediately acceptance and the emotions are just 0 to 180 here and i don’t like it

and also the way they started crushing on eo… also out of the blue

kj’s crush on mac pisses me off too. like how exactly do they want to save mac? for her to stay in the future? like if she goes back, there’s still no cure? or they wanna find it here first? im just so annoyed w mac

ok let’s go, the last two volumes of this series. i need to know how it ends but other than that i am not obsessed w the story itself 😭😭
