I'm having a hard time with this stupid bet between Storm and the Tripette. I'm not even going to be able to read what will happen when she finds out.
As for Nixie, anyone would know it was a mistake to take her along.
After this book I'm going to read a different genre. I enjoy a romance now and then, but I'm finding they are acting foolishly.

I've read some of the other reviews and I agree. Wren is a wonderful, strong character. A blind female leading the Renegades. Her ability to see shadows through the eyes of her owl is the sort of stories I love. Plus, her gift with animals overall. Storm's whole perverted talk about his sexual conquests and the whores he and every man in this book has been with make me sick. Storm has a childish macho ego.

I liked Wren and Storm's story because it showed a very strong female character with a disability. Storm had to figure out what love was. Sometimes you have to lose someone to gain another one. When Wren discovered that she had, in fact, lost her child, I cried with her. But I think that she knew deep inside that Renard was not hers. If an emotional rollercoaster is what you seek, I highly recommend this book.
